A decent hotel in this emerging country will cost around $100 US a night, and a good meal will cost between $30 and $40 US. Hotels in the countryside cost $50 US for a private bath, but there are rooms for $15 to $20 US a night without a private bath. Sightseeing adventures with a tour guide can be expensive. Most people spend $60 to $100 US a day to visit obscure out-of-the-way historic sites. Some taxi drivers take advantage of foreigners, but tourists can usually travel across the country by taxi for about $30 US.
