Cairo enjoys a Mediterranean climate as well as a desert climate which means it can get very humid and wind storms can be intense. The dust from the Sahara desert can fill the city in March and April. Winter temperatures range from 65 degrees to 75 degrees during the day and 35 degrees at night. Summer temperatures can reach 90 degrees in the afternoons and will drop to 60 degrees at night. It doesn’t rain very often, but a sudden rain shower can cause severe flooding
