South Africa Weather Patterns
South Africa weather patterns are the reverse of the weather patterns in the Northern Hemisphere. The winter season runs from June to September.
It's the ideal time to hike or pursue other outdoor activities because the air is drier and cooler. Winter is also a great time to study the wildlife because the African vegetation is in its dormant state. The Eastern part of the country, especially in the higher elevations, can get some frost, but most of the days and nights are clear and cool enough for a jacket.
