The locals head to the beach every chance they get thanks to the inviting waters of the Atlantic and the abundant sunshine. The largest stretch of beach is south of the city in Costa da Caparic. The sandy towns of Troia and and Meco and the secluded beaches in Adraga are perfect for sun worshippers.
