Cost of Living in England

The cost of living in England can be downright expensive in London, but the cities in the north are cheaper.
The British pound sterling is the official currency and the most common bank notes are the 5, 10, and 20 pound sterling bills. The lack of space in the big cities increases the cost of living. Food in restaurants and local grocery shops is much higher in Sotheast and Southwest. The northern cities tend to be cheaper, but if there's a high concentration of businesses, tourism, and luxuries people pay more to live.
