Budapest is known for its temperate climate. The summer temperature is in the low 80s, but in recent years 100 degree temperatures have been recorded. Spring and fall temperatures usually stay in the high 60s to low 70s and the winter can get cold. Thermometer readings drop into the 20s and 30s.
