Cost of Living in Thailand

One of the advantages of visiting Thailand is the cost of living. The smaller the city, the better the prices, but most visitors find hotels and food prices the same price as other cities around Southeast Asia that have not had much exposure to increasing Western prices and cultural perks. Transportation is cheap.
Airline flights are reasonable from city to city, and the taxis, buses, and trains provide decent service at popular prices.
