Hotels in Peru
Where to Stay
Depending on your destination Peru has a wide variety of hotel and hostel choices. Here are some of our favorites:
If you’re staying in the Machu Picchu Region try the Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge, which is located a few yards away from the entrance gate to Machu Picchu. The food, bar, and view are all worth the stay, and the rooms are comfortable and clean. In Lima try the Casa Andina Private Collection Miraflores, which is just two blocks from Kennedy Park. The Casa Andina is a contemporary hotel with all the modern amenities and a fantastic restaurant. If you’re staying in the Cusco Region try the Hotel Monasterio, there’s no pool or spa, but this restored 16th century monastery is worth the money. The hotel is located near the Plaza de Armas and once you enter the hotel you know you have stepped back in time. Hotel Monasterio is one hotel you’ll never forget. If you plan a visit to the Puno Region stay at Titilaka; it’s private, so it’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy the native culture of Peru, and if you’re staying in the Arequipa region try the Libertador Arequipa Hotel, which is one of the best hotels in Peru. It’s secluded and has one of the largest pools in the country. There a workout room, a spa, and the all the modern amenities. The food is outstanding and the service is excellent.
