Beaches in Vegas

The Beach (man-made) at Mandalay Bay
The Beach (man-made) at Mandalay Bay

The water activity in Vegas is nothing short of fantastic. There’s no ocean, but there are plenty of man-made beaches that are perfect for sun worshippers, pool party aficionados and outrageous European sunbathing queens. Here are our favorite spots to get a tan:

The Palms Pool and Bungalows is spread across two acres. Sunbathers can relax or see a live concert. The beach at the Mandalay is an eleven acre man made version of a Caribbean beach. The beach has a wave pool, a lazy river and a beachside casino. Bare, at the Mirage, is the place to be pampered poolside. There are two salt water pools, private cabanas and daybeds, complete with Evian misting bottles and chilled cucumbers to soothe your eyes, plus you can always enjoy a full lunch menu at the infinity- edged pool. The Beach Club at the Hard Rock is a mile of sand, hot bodies and Brazilian Dental Swimwear. The private cabanas with beds make this place feel like you’ve died and gone to that heavenly beach in the sky.
