Family Friendly and Nude Beaches

If you want to enjoy the sun and surf in the buff, head to the Island of Sylt. The climate is great and the beaches are clothing optional. Nude beaches were established in Germany in 1920 and they have been a highlight for some tourists ever since.

The Island of Ruegen is located in the Baltic Sea and is another great beach with fantastic white cliffs and long, beautiful sandy beaches. East Germany is known for its clear lakes and green forests and it’s also known for its nude camping grounds. One family friendly sight is Useriner Lake, which is located in Muritz National Park. Other beaches that attract visitors from all over the world are the Hamburg district of Volksdorf and Lake Wannsee, which is located in the West of Berlin. Munich’s largest lake, the Feldmochinger, has excellent water quality and beautiful scenery.
