There are over 278 hotels in Singapore and there’s no shortage of five star hotels. The Four Seasons, the Ritz Carlton, the Inter Continental Hotel, the Naumi Hotel, The Goodwood Park and the Mandarin Oriental offer excellent accommodations in a centrally located section of the city. They all have Internet and cable connections, as well as smoke free floors and are close to shopping, restaurants, nightclubs and bars. The Ivory, the Tent, the Tapas Tree and the Pump Room are all located in Clarke Quay. The food offered in Clarke Quay is a diverse collection of international delights and the wine selections make most visitors stay for most of the night.

The nightlife in Singapore is a non-stop mixture of drinks, dancing and just chilling or hanging out in some of the most unique clubs in Southeast Asia. Café Iguana, the Clinic and Baize/China One are great bars and the Barfly, the Kandi Bar and the fashionbar offer exotic drinks as well as personal favorites in club atmospheres that are designed with 21st century technology. The party atmosphere can be found at the Ministry of Sound, Attica & Attica Too and the Forbidden City/Bar Cocoon, which are always filled with action, music and entertainment.

Most of the gay scene is located in Chinatown.
