Weather in Malaysia

Weather in Malaysia (Climate Info),Malaysia Travel Guide and Tourist Information

The weather gives tourists the opportunity to visit Malaysia almost any time of the year. Rainfall is evenly spread throughout the year so there’s not much difference between the rainy season from October to April and the rest of the year. But there’s one weather exception and that is the eastern coast of peninsular Malaysia, which gets heavy rain from November to about the middle of February. All the east coast resorts close during this wet season and boat service is almost non-existent. Sarawak and Sabah also get some heavy rain all year long, but the wettest months are October thru March so the weather can be tricky in those places as well. Most visitors endure the heat and humidity of summer in one way or another, but others prefer the somewhat cooler temperatures of March, April, and part of May, although those months are never really considered cool by any definition.
