The Nightlife in Bali

The nightlife in Bali can be a romantic spot on the beach, a pulsating club on the top floor of a hotel or a local bar where you mingle with the locals.

Bali is filled with Disco Bars, Karaoke Bars and night clubs where the drinks and live music carry you through the night. The real action starts after midnight in Bali. Kuta can be quiet in the evening and then erupt and be filled with a party crowd after 1am. The Bali Discos have the Kupu Kupu Malams, which are the working girls and boys that offer their sexual services for a price. Prostitution is illegal in Bali, but everyone close their eyes, so working girls are found in bars and clubs all over the island. If you’re staying in Sanur or Nusa Dua, try the Trophy Bar in front of the Sanur Beach Hotel or the Borneo Pub, but make it early, they close a t 1am.

If you’re staying in the Kuta area, there are several choices for tourists who want to party.

Peanuts Discotheque and Casablanca are always crowed, and are great places to meet new friends. The Bounty Ship is noisy disco with a lot of action. Paddy’s has been rebuilt and still attracts a lively crowd, but the new “In” place is M-Bar-Go . The music is great and the crowd is first class.
