Spending a few days in the unique atmosphere of Amsterdam is an unforgettable experience. Cruising down the city’s waterways in a barge and watching the Dutch experience life is a captivating adventure that is enhanced when the tulips are in bloom in Vondelpark. Amsterdam’s famous flower market is a great place to buy flower bulbs; it's built on a houseboat. Leidseplein Square is filled with restaurants and cafes, as well as street performers and different cultural venues. A trip to Amsterdam without visiting the Red Light District would be a complete miss. This neighborhood is known around the world for prostitution, hot discos and its fantastic nightlife. Red lights still hang in front of the small brothels that lined the street. Prostitution is legal in Amsterdam and is control by the city. Walking around the city is an adventure in itself. It is filled with old taverns and cafes that serve some of the best brewed beer in the world, but also some of the finest marijuana. Some of the cafes in the city allow grass smoking and sell the product in house.
