The Virgin Islands enjoy an arid climate with trade winds that are considered moderate.
Daily Temperatures stay in the low 90s in summer and the mid-80s in the winter. It rains from the beginning of September through the end of November, but the rainfall is not consistent. It only rains about 38 inches a year. Other natural hazards do exist. Hurricanes, tropical cyclones and earthquakes occasionally occur. Hurricane season is June through November.
