The US Virgin Islands are filled with attractions. Buck Island usually is number one for snorkeler’s and scuba divers, because the island is surrounded by a coral reef. Christiansted on St Croix is a beautiful town with a perfect harbor. The old fort was built in 1774 to protect the town from pirates. The original Dutch architecture, streets and pastel warehouses make the town a big tourist stop. Charlotte Amalie on St.Thomas is another site worth visiting. The harbor, houses, streets and Danish merchant warehouses bring a colonial island charm to the city that’s unforgettable. Blackbeard’s Castle, on Government Hill, is a perfect place to view the harbor and the duty-free shopping offers visitors some great bargains.
