Where to Eat: Food

Eating island style is a real treat. Try the fresh conch salad, lobster stew or grilled fresh grouper seasoned with island spices.

Here are some of our favorite places to eat: Breezes Bahamas, on West Bay Street in Nassau, needs a little tender loving care, but the food is great. The Japanese Steak is also on West Bay Street. It’s the only restaurant on the islands that offers tableside Teppanyaki. The Graycliff Restaurant mirrors the hotel. The food and service are exceptional, and the atmosphere is extremely romantic. Morgan’s Bluff, in Freeport, is a casual seafood restaurant named after the famous pirate. It’s reasonably priced and the service is first class. Pisces Restaurant, in Freeport, is a great people watching place. It’s located at the front of Port Lucaya.
